here is our Final Project video. My group was comprised of Mauricio, Matthieu and myself. We were inspired to do a video about international students at Loyola because Matthieu is an international student himself. our target audience is Loyola students and possible future Loyola International students.

My Interview Video
I interviewed Mauricio La Sage. I asked him what was important to him and he told me his dog Max who is dying from diabetes. In my video he talks about his relationship with Max and what Max is going through with diabetes. Here is the interview.
My Still Image Video
Here’s my still image video. It is a compilation of pictures taken through my 2011 cross country season at Loyola. It features names of the individuals on my team as well as information of our home race. At the end of the video I show my team holding a first place trophy for winning our home meet. The point of the video is to inform Loyola students of the Loyola Cross Country program and show how this group of individuals work hard to reach team goals.

Triptych Project
The first image shows three females on a strip of film. The young girl in the middle is day dreaming in class. Above her is a picture of current pop sensation, Ke$ha. Below her is Condoleezza Rice, former United States Secretary of State. The message that is conveyed is how young girls grow up with different dreams and how they are often torn between trying to gain power with intellects or merely just with looks.
The second triptych image is meant to be a humorous jab at the NBA’s most hated player. Michael Jordan, the all time best player in the NBA hands down, is shown making a slam dunk in one of his many iconic pictures. The middle image shows the six championship trophies the Bulls one while Jordan was on the team. The last image is of Lebron crying during a game, most likely after he choked in the championship game against the Mavericks last year.
The third triptych image is told in chronological order like a story. The first image is a baby sleeping. The second is a young, energetic boy running through a field. The third is one of a college student sleeping in class. When we were young kids, we never wanted to nap. However, as we grow older we revert back to our old habits of napping. Many students become fans of napping in college when they are given free time in between their classes.

I used a picture of me running in a race and photo shopped myself into three different situations. The first one is me running in Audobon Park towards a box of donuts. I love Dunkin Donuts and I go running through Audobon Park a lot. The second one is me running alongside the beach away from a shark. I love going to the beach, but I’m deathly afraid of sharks. The last one is me running in Italy with the cast of the Jersey Shore. I’m Italian and I hope that one day I will be able to travel to Italy and hang out with my fellow Italian-Americans that we watch every week on MTV.

Choosing A Theme
I was thoroughly surprised by the amount of backgrounds or “themes” WordPress offers its users for free! As I went through the various designs, I felt like a seventh grader choosing her Myspace background. During those tender Myspace years, my layouts usually consisted of Abercrombie and Fitch Logos or hearts drawn in the sand of beaches. Today, however, I decided to choose a more simple theme. Hopefully with a lack of distraction from loud pictures in the background, readers will be able to focus on the content of what I write. The theme called “Forever” offers a space to put a header photo, but leaves the majority of the webpage open for just writing. It looks clean and professional and not too noisy or dull
